💻 Which operating systems are currently supported?
We currently support the following platforms:
- ✅ Windows
- ✅ macOS
- ❌ Mobile (iOS / Android) is not supported yet
📅 The mobile version is expected to launch in Q4, with support for syncing data with the desktop version.
🧩 Does it support syncing? Which cloud services are available?
FlexNote is a local-first note-taking tool, but it supports syncing via third-party cloud services.
Currently supported:
- S3 protocol (compatible with Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, etc.)
- WebDAV (e.g., Nutstore, Nextcloud)
- OneDrive
- Baidu Netdisk (via third-party authorization)
🔒 Is my data secure? Will anything be uploaded to your server?
FlexNote is local-first by design:
- All data is stored locally by default and is never uploaded to our servers
- Syncing is entirely based on the cloud accounts you configure
- Notes can be exported as Markdown or PDF for backup
📦 Can I import or export notes?
Yes! FlexNote currently supports:
- Import:

,.html
files - Export: Individual or bulk export as
.md
,.pdf
🌐 Is the interface multilingual?
Currently supported languages:
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
- English
More languages are planned in future updates.
📱 Does it support stylus or touch input?
Not yet — stylus and touch input are currently not supported.
💾 Can I migrate my data?
Yes! FlexNote stores all data locally in a structured format:
- You can copy the data directory to create a backup
- You can also use the export feature to migrate your content
- Automatic backup strategies will be supported in the future

🤝 Does FlexNote support team collaboration?
FlexNote is currently designed for individual use only and does not yet support real-time collaboration. However, we're exploring lightweight collaboration features for future releases — stay tuned!
