📄️ Card System
In FlexNote, cards are the fundamental units for organizing knowledge. Each card can exist independently or be combined, nested, and linked within unlimited whiteboards. You can think of a card as a structured “information container.”
📄️ Whiteboard
FlexNote offers a powerful infinite canvas whiteboard system for visually organizing and displaying your card content. You can drag and drop cards onto the board, freely arrange, nest, and connect them — building your knowledge network like constructing a mind model.
📄️ Tags
In FlexNote, tags are not just simple labels but an extensible database system. You can assign one or multiple tags to a card and define custom properties for each tag, enabling structured data capabilities to support powerful filtering, view management, and project tracking.
📄️ Highlighting
In FlexNote, highlighting is not just a visual annotation, but a structured way to organize information. You can highlight in PDFs and videos, and the system will automatically generate corresponding cards for management and organization.
📄️ Tabs
In FlexNote, the Tab system is located in the left sidebar, used to manage all your currently opened content, including various types of cards, whiteboards, PDFs, and more. Every time you open new content, the system automatically creates a corresponding Tab in the sidebar, allowing you to quickly switch between multiple tasks or ideas.
📄️ Journal
FlexNote provides a built-in Journal module to help you record daily thoughts, tasks, learning, or life moments organized by date. The journal is not just a simple note page but deeply integrated with the card system, tags, and supports structured organization and cross-module collaboration.
📄️ Bidirectional Links
Bidirectional links are one of FlexNote’s core capabilities for building a knowledge network. They allow cards to establish “two-way” reference relationships, connecting contexts and forming nonlinear structured content.
📄️ Keyboard Shortcuts
FlexNote offers a comprehensive set of keyboard shortcuts to help you create, manage, and organize content more efficiently. Below is a list of supported shortcuts for various feature modules.
